The Saga Youth Hostel is the place where I stayed when I travelled to Bei Jing and the place I will definitely stay next time I get there. It's just 15 $ a night for a bed in a 4 bed dorm, and it's nothing short of a US YMCA hostel. It is on Shija Hutong, just east of the center
