If you go to Beijing Concert Hall or to the Forbidden City Hall you can listen to some traditional Chinese music, but in this places you may also hear some western classical music which is very popular. The city's cultural elite loves the Poly Plaza Theatre where you can listen to jazz, classical music or opera or watch a ballet or modern dance performance.
