general's question: I want to see the Great Wall, what should I do?(give a different answer) .
When I was in China one of the most important tasks for me was to visit the Great Wall. But there I had to choose which part of this monumental feat of engeneering I want to see. So I asked what's the best-known section of the wall? The answer was Badaling. Let's go there, I said. It is daily opened from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the price is 35Y. You can find Badaling at 70 km from Beijing, so one of my problems was how to get there. The easiest way and the cheap one too is the tourist bus which can get you there for about 36 or 50Y in an hour and a half, departing every 20 minutes. Wish you luck and a nice trip!
