The Imperial garden you say? Where else can it be if not where the empeeror's used to live? In the Forbidden City, of course. I visited it myself - they have a cafe now there too :), and I was impressed by the Qinandian, the Hall of Imperial Peace that lies in the middle of the garden. There's no admission fee
