The Stilwell Museum in Chongqing

If you're here in Chongqing I would recommend the Stilwell Museum. To get there take bus #104 and get off at Libiza stop. Take the set of stairs opposite the bus stop and about 100 m right uphill you will see the museum. It has a wonderfull display on the life of Joseph Stilwell, Chief Commander of the US forces in China, Burma and India from 1942 to 1944. Also featured are the volunteer Flying tigers who flew over the Himalayas to deliver supplies into China. Out of 1170 flights, 514 crashed.
