If you want to shop, then Guangzhou is a good place to satisfy your needs. The Changshou Lu area located in west Guangzhou is a heap of designer clothes shops, boutique stores and shopping plazas. Also you have Beijing Lu, more centrally located. Both have areas that are pedestrianized at weekends. If this is not enough you can always go to the Friendship Store, with its five floors of imported designer gear and more.The latter is on easterly Taojin Lu.
