Chaotian Gong in Nanjing

Posted 1 year ago by rocker in response to avatar jimmy's question: Is there any palace here in Nanjing??I'd like to visit it. (give a different answer) .

It's actually a former Ming palace, now hosting the tiny Municipal Museum. It is called Chaotian Gong and it was build in 1384. Its name means Worshipping Heaven and it was used for audiences with the emperor as well as his residence. The palace is open daily between 8am and 5 pm, the entrance fee is 40Y and you can get there by taking bus #4 from Fuzi Miao.
