antonio's question:
I'm going to Shanghai on vacation and I'd like to get a general idea about the restaurants there. Can anybody be of assistance?(give a different answer) .
Restaurants in Shanghai are generaly more expensive than the rest of China but by international standards prices are reasonable so there is no need to be concerned. Most dishes are priced at around 30Y and even the restaurants that serve special meals come to less than 80 Y. Thus many of the old school establishments have continued to prosper and survive continuous modernization.
