They actually have a catholic Cathedral there , and a most impressive one too. Try to imagine a blend of Gothic and Asian religious architecture and you'll see what I mean. the Xujiahui Cathedral is in the South of the city and is definitely worth taking a look at. There's a meteorological center and a library there. Quite unique :)
