Where can I buy some Budha statues in Shanghai?? I don't want to go home empty handed.(give a different answer) .
As a local I am proud to say that Shanghai has one of largest antique markets possibly in all of China. In a small alley called Dongtai Lu outside of the old city you can find a permanent antique market that runs between 10am and 4 pm. You can find very rare pieces of art, from antique Buddhas to cins and tea pots. Enjoy your shopping.
