general's question: I need to get to Kobe soon to handle some personal affairs. How to I get there from Tianjin?(give a different answer) .
The Tanggu port lies 50 km east of Tianjin and has the most port activity in the area. There is a ferry that leaves for Kobe every Monday. The cheapest ticket will cost you 1600Y and will grant you a tatami mat in a dormitory so the services are not actually that cheap. Since this is the only ride to Kobe it will have to do. Bye.
