The kids will be pleased if you take them to Underwater World Xiamen. It's on the island centre of Gulangyu near the Bank of China. You can see it by the huge bronze sculpture of a giant octopus. It has walk through aquariums, penguins, turtles, seal displays and a huge whale skeleton. The entrance fee is 70Y for adults and 40Y for kids and it's open daily from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.
